PLEASANTVILLE, NJ (June 17, 2017) – A spectacular evening skyline at Lakes Bay Marina was the setting for the City of Pleasantville’s third annual Sunset Wine Tasting on Saturday, June 17th, where guests were treated to live music and sampled fine wines from a variety of South Jersey vineyards and wine distributors.
The wine tasting, sponsored by Performance Marketing, Peter Lumber Company and Art Handler’s Appliance Center, was the first event of Pleasantville’s 2017 Bayview Summer Series. Proceeds benefited the Pleasantville Envisions Pride and Prosperity (PEPP) Committee.
Guests were presented with an engraved glass and enjoyed wine poured by Vermeil Wines, Joe Canal’s Discount Liquor Store with Harrison Beverage, South Jersey Wine Friends and XV Exclusives with Canal’s of Mays Landing. A raffle was held for a wine refrigerator donated by Art Handler’s Appliance Center, won by Madeline Amado-Buell of Pleasantville.
“We love welcoming new and returning guests to our Sunset Wine Tasting events,” said Pleasantville Mayor Jesse Tweedle Sr. “People come from across South Jersey and Philadelphia to socialize, taste great wines and enjoy what Pleasantville has to offer.”
