The City of Pleasantville’s Bayview Summer Series turned up the heat Saturday, August 27th with the 20th Annual Latin Music Fest. The event was held at the former Pleasantville High School site at Franklin and Ansley Boulevards. A full day of music, fun and delicious food featured live performances by some of Latin Music’s hottest acts including Philadelphia-born salsa artist Edgar Joel, Infiniti de la Bachata and many more.

Roy Aungst of Absecon, won first place for the best BBQ and claims bragging rights as Pleasantville’s first “King of the Grill.” The second place prize went to Jack Dever of Northfield, who won a trophy and $100.

Pleasantville Mayor Jesse L. Tweedle, Sr., invited judges, including, Pleasantville City Council President, Lincoln Green, Atlantic City Mayor, Don Guardian; Press of AC Entertainment Editor, Scott Cronick; Ramon Horn of West Deptford and Al Jefferson of Atlantic City.
